The Dover Jobs, Skills and Training Fair is coming to the Maison Dieu (Dover Town Hall) on Wednesday, 23 September from 10am to 2.30pm.

Whether you're looking for a new job, considering a career change, exploring training opportunities, or wanting to develop new skills, the fair will bring together a wide range of organisations ready to offer advice and support.

More than 30 employers, volunteer groups, recruitment agencies and skills support organisations are expected to exhibit, offering local job vacancies, volunteering opportunities, training courses, careers advice and information about future career pathways.

Visitors will have the chance to speak directly with employers and training providers, learn about apprenticeships and ways to develop their skills, and receive advice and support to help them take their next step.

The event also offers an opportunity to visit the newly restored Maison Dieu, one of Dover's most significant historic buildings.

Cllr Kevin Mills, Leader of Dover District Council, said: "We're delighted to be bringing together employers, training providers and support organisations once again for the Big Dover Jobs, Skills and Training Fair at the Maison Dieu.

"Whether you're looking for a new job, considering a change in career, exploring training opportunities or wanting to develop new skills, there will be something for everyone. The fair provides a valuable opportunity to speak directly with organisations, discover what's available locally and take the next step towards achieving your goals.

"We're grateful to all our partners for supporting the event and encourage anyone interested in employment, training or volunteering opportunities to come along."

Employers and organisations recruiting volunteers or offering skills and training who are interested in exhibiting at the event should contact debra.jennings@dover.gov.uk
