Cemetery Charges
Like most councils, Dover District Council charges for cemetery services. Charges cover a range of services including burials, interments of ashes, exclusive rights of burial and memorial permits.

* Charges for a Non-Resident of Dover District Council
Interment charges apply where the person to be interred is, or was immediately before death, a resident of the Dover District Council area. In the case of a stillborn child, the charges apply where one or both parents are residents of the district. In all other cases—except for burials in previously purchased graves—the stated charges will be doubled.
